we bought Whirlpool Super Capacity Dryer on aug last year along with the matching Whirlpool Washing Machine.The machine has worked very well. I bought this dryer within the past 3 months and I am very pleased with my purchase. Finally I have a dryer that has a sensor that works! I don't have problems with my clothes over drying. The dryer comes with an ample amount of settings. It has a beeper when clothing is done it also has a setting that will notify you the clothes are done and it will restart to fluff the clothes if you don't take them out right away to prevent wrinkling. I bought this dryer in October. So far I love it. It dries well, it isn't too loud, and it has lots of different drying cycles from which to choose. It is big, however -- depth wise. I didn't count on that when I bought it. You need to measure the depth of the dryer -- but then make sure you count extra room for the hose out the back to ensure you have enough room to fit it into the space in which you are trying to fit it. Plan on an extra 4-5 inches ...
...get the pedestal (an extra $110 bucks -- which is ridiculous for a metal box) or have someone build you a pedestal upon which to put your washer dryer before you have them installed. Just remember, however, that the matching washer is a top loader -- not a front loader -- so don't go too high or you won't be able to see inside the washer. ... Read review
