Drys quickly
Review of Maytag MED5600TQ Electric by
jabbusch-girl
Advantages: quiet, drys quickly
Disadvantages: none
If you want a very nice dryer than this is the one for you. It drys clothes really fast. It also only has to be turn on once to go around not twice. It has different features of heat that you can use. It is so easy to use and the performance is the thing that I like the best. The noise level is rather quiet unless you put a pair of shkoes into it. Then the noise ends up being pretty loud. The design is just simple and natural looking. Which means ...

cheap price for great dryer
Review of Maytag MED5700TQ Electric by
renee
Advantages: dries quickly, clothes wrinkle free
Disadvantages: none
We had bought one of these about four to five years ago and it still works as good as new. It has different kind of drying features and functions. It is very easy to clean out the lint tray. It gets your clothes dryed the very first time that it goes around. With this type of dryer, it makes your clothes very soft. It also dries very quickly. The dryer is not really loud but you areable to hear it from the back porch. I have had no kind of problems ...

CLEAN, FRESH AND DRY.
Review of Whirlpool WED5300SQ Electric by
SimpIyCrazy
Advantages: Clean, easy and efficient.
Disadvantages: None.
This dryer was given to my daughter and son in law. I live with them. We all use it. The matching washer was also a gift at the same time.
This dryer opens to the side with a left hand opening. It is white. Easy to read and understand controls. There are five automatic cycles including energy preferred, tumble press, fluff air, automatic, timed, with cool down cycles one the higher heat cycles. I don't know the specifics on this dryer but I do know ... ...the lower heat cycle and they come out soft and dry. We are a household of four and I myself, do at least three loads per week. It always does an excellent job. It seems like at least one person is doing laundry every day of the week!
The lint trap is on top with a screen that pulls out completely so you can clean it without getting lint all over the place. I also like the timed drying for throwing in a blouse or jacket or whatever it is, to get ...

Good value for your money
Review of Whirlpool WED5600SQ Electric by
aasselin
Advantages: Easy to use, quiet, affordable
Disadvantages: Probably too small for people with larger families and more clothes
...and I also bought a Whirlpool washing machine, we went to The Home Depot and spent less than $600 for both, and have put them to good use. It's a very durable machine and I haven't had any problems with it at all. I would definitely recommend this dryer to people who want a good value for a not so high price! ...

Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer works for me
Review of Whirlpool WED6200SW Electric by
grownupgirlie
Advantages: Quiet, Very large capacity, Sensor drying, durable
Disadvantages: "Time Left" display is usually wrong
We purchased this Whirlpool Cabrio Super-Capacity dryer to replace a piece of crap Kenmore dryer. We knew we didn't want to own another Kenmore or Fridgidaire product again (they were the actual manufacturer of the dryer). But we only needed to replace the dryer and the dryer needed to have specific qualities: to have a large enough capacity to dry all the clothes that our washer could wash (which was A LOT) and have a door that opened to the right ... ...with this dryer and other Whirlpool products. When our crap Kenmore washer eventually died, we replaced it with a Whirlpool Duet. However, we did learn our lesson and purchased the extended warranty (we got it at Best Buy) and had them install it. It's a little piece of mind, considering that nothing seems to be made to last these days. So far, it's performed so much better than our previous machine and I would highly recommend it to anyone. ...
