I purchased my Whirlpool Steam Washer & Dryer in November 2007 when they first came out. I am extremely happy with my investment. My clothes are coming out great. My electric bill has come down. Disadvantages: Dryer sheets sometimes cause your clothes to stay damp

Not recommended for the price. I purchased this dryer for my mom when I lived with her. I thought I was getting a top of the line item; however, not even close. It has had to be fixed three times in less than 1 year. In my opinion that is not what I paid for. It also shrunk my clothes on numerous occasions because even though I had it on extra low heat the "sensors" increased the heat to get them dry faster but that ended up shrinking many items. ... I like the spesifications and the features, it's modern, lux, and more saving energy with largest capacity in. Fast work too. I'll buy it. I generally pass the time more than 30 minute to take a bath, where as cleaning generally need time till 1 clock: soak 15 minute, 30 minute rinse, and 15 minute dry. I know you are probably thinking that $900 is a bit much for a dryer but you not believe the money it saves me on my power bill. I wasnt aware that the dryer I had was running up my power bill like it was. I am saving so much money. The drying time is alot less than my other dryer.
