Full review
This review is made for my aunt who lost her very dear dog, Nini.

It was one of those weekends when we did nothing at all, just sit in the terrace and talk about things, when my cousin arrived. She had with her a mangy puppy, it was fluffy and white and in another circumstance it would have been cute but, it was too dirty and skinny. When you hold her, her bones stick out from under her white fur. However, my aunt feel in love with her immediately and decided to keep the puppy, My aunt eventually called her Nini.

Under my aunt's caring hands Nini eventually filled up and became a very happy dog. My aunt loved her so much that she really sees to it that she gets what she wants. Since Nini doesn't like to eat rice, my aunt gave him meat instead. Everyday she would go to the market, buying pork, chicken or beef. My aunt really pampered her. She was a lovable dog, when I had my first baby, i'd asked my aunt to give my son a bath, Nini would come along and watch my son, she'd sniff his feet, his hands. She was what you'd call, a dog with a heart and intelligence.

Until one day when my aunt had to go on a trip for her check-up. She left Nini with us, giving her food allowance that made all of us drool. Each of us were given a specific task for her most loved pet. I had to go to the market to buy her food, my brothers were in charge of giving her a bath and brushing her teeth, and my sister was to prepare her bed. We did this routine for almost a week, however, in the day we gave her free reign, do what she loves to do most. Play with other dogs in the area, and this was a big mistake. For some unknown reason, Nini contracted a disease. When my aunt arrived, she was heart-stricken and she told us that the disease was of the nerves. Something akin to Parkinson's disease. It was during those times that we saw how my aunt really loved Nini. She employed a veterinarian to come to our house everyday to check on Nini, she kept vigil everyday praying that Nini would recover, and she did.

Although, she recovered she was never the same again. She was weaker, her tongue kept rolling out, she has a tick in her left eye, and she gets tired easily, but nevertheless my aunt loved her more. She was 3 when she contracted the disease, she survived for 5 years, and eventually died last year due to her weakened state. My aunt told me that during her last hours, Nini kept calling to my aunt. When eventually my aunt woke up she went to Nini in the next room, the dog made a low growling sound and closed her eyes. My aunt knew then that Nini has passed away. She didn't sleep for the duration of the night, and lighted some candles to keep vigil of her beloved dog and buried her in the morning. When I heard the news, I immediately went to my aunt and told her how sorry I was to hear the news. My aunt said to me "It doesn't matter, at least I know that I won't have to worry about her anymore when my time comes."
