A top knotch dishwashing system.
Review of LG LDS5811BB by Ricki1008

Advantages: Quiet, low water use, changeable rack settings, Energy Star rated
Disadvantages: None at all.

This is one of the best dishwashers that we have ever owned hands down! Not only does it hold a ton of dirty dishes, pots, pans, etc., the way that it cleans them is beyond compare. Anything that is washed comes out fresh and clean as can be. The way you can set up the interior to fit your own needs is such a big help when you need to have larger baking dishes and strange size pots that just won't fit in a regular type of dishwaher. The many different ... Read review

Dishwasher
Review of Whirlpool DU1055XTS by babybearps

Advantages: Energy saver, large loads, gets stuff really clean
Disadvantages: none

I have this dishwasher and it works really well. I think it looks really nice because its simple looking and doesnt look outdated. We got the white so it will go with everything else in our kitchen. Its got alot of options too. You can set it to any setting you want like, heavy for pots and pans, regular for plates and things and light for things like china and glass. It has heat and air dry options too. I love the little key pad instead of the old ... Read review

looks great but doesn't work that way
Review of LG LDF6810ST by jabbusch-girl

Advantages: looks, features
Disadvantages: leaks, doesn't clean well, very loud

A friend of mine had one of these a couple years ago and said she would not recommend it to anyone. It does not work very good at all nd it akes several time to get your dishes clean. She did say that it did have several functions and feathures that you were able to use for different kinds of dishes though. It was ok to clean but it was kind of hard. It even leaked on her floor some and it was very loud in trying to clean the dishes. She told me ... Read review

Whirlpool Gold GU2700XTS - The ONE for You!!
Review of Whirlpool GU2700XTS by JohnA

Advantages: Many - PowerScour, Hard Food disposer, adjustable rack
Disadvantages: None

We had the Whirlpool Gold GU2700XTS installed in our home when we first moved into it, and it has functioned remarkably thus far. Gone are the days when i worried about spotting of glasses and plates and silverware that dont come clean. This model is an EnergyStar model so it is an environmentally friend piece of equipment which i liked up front. It came with two very nice features which really sold me on this unit, the Powerscour feature, and the ...
...to scrub every little thing off your plates because this systems 36 jets will attack even the most messy of dishes with their targeted streams. It allows you to use this in many cycles including Pots & Pans, Normal, and/or an adaptive wash cycle. It also doesnt require adding more water to the cycle for this, which increases its efficency. The dishwasher also comes with the EZ-2Lift adjustable upper rack which allows you to wash tall items, which ... Read review

Don't buy this dishwasher!
Review of LG LDF9810ST by colorado72

Advantages: Nice looking exterior.
Disadvantages: Doesn't clean the dishes, all dishes wet, vents steam to floor, poorly designed racks.

Paid $1,500 for this newest LG Steam dishwasher at Home Depot. last week. The dishwasher doesn't clean the dishes, all dishes are wet at the end of the over 2 hour normal cycle, the racks are poorly designed in that this huge tub holds less than dishwashers half the size, and the dishwasher vents hot steam at the bottom which is warping my hardwood floor. The cutlery bins are too small to hold regular silverware and items placed on the 3rd level ...
...stem rack on the upper rack is supposed to hold stemware. That woud work if your stemware were 4 inches tall. The rack is adjustable - you can lower it to accept normal stemware and large glasses, but then you won't be able to load regular size plates in the lower rack (unles you want them chipped by the spray arm.) Because all the dishes are wet at the end of the cycle (even if you are using a rinse aid product), water will drip from the dishwasher ... Read review
