This Dirt Devil M0915 was a gift to me from my husband. The reason I received this instead of diamonds or perfume, is because I asked for a hand vacuum. I wanted one primarily to clean my stairs with, because the full size vacuum is too hard to maneuver up and down the stairway. ...It works best when the dirt is light and loose on a flat surface. When used on carpet, or to pick up heavier debris, it is practically useless. There is a crevice device on the vacuum which is used to clean edges and corners. The concept is great, but without the proper suction, it is also useless. The M0915 has a retractable carpet brush.
