Made of aluminum alloy and sealed in 74 parts, is a real joy in this regard. Accepts obviously grip for extra batteries and compartment to store an extra card. Its compartments are sealed and are opened by a few levers, which gives them extra security, apart from sealing already commented. Pentax K10D
Review of Pentax K10D by
kissouraces
Advantages: picture quality, features
Disadvantages: pricetag, size
...excellent experience with photography store Pentax K 100D. I decided to have a look at the K 10D at my local photography store to compare the features.
The K 10 D sports at 10 megapixel range over the K 100D 6 megapixel limit. I was quite disappointed. There are actually few awe-inspiring new features, and it doesn't justify the difference in price between the two models. You be far better off with a K 100D in terms of value for money.
However, ...

My new Pentax after 25 years of my Pentax live
Review of Pentax K100D by
LLSmurf
Advantages: shake reduction in body, high ISO, low noise
Disadvantages: no automatic ccd cleaning
I bought this camera about 14 months ago and mode a couple of thousands photos with it so far. 6 mega pixel doesn't sound much, but is definitely enough. Who honestly ever makes printouts lager then 24x16"? But the "disadvantage of the low number of pixels make some other advantages possible: ISO3200 with very low noise, smaller, usable picture files etc. Also the Share Reduction being built into the camera instead of the lenses (like Canon does) ...
