I love my Nikon D40
Review of Nikon D40 by
sierra0278
Advantages: Excellent picture quality, easy to use
Disadvantages: None
I bought my Nikon D40 3 months ago. This is my first SLR camera and my first Nikon. I am an amateur photographer and owned Canons before. I love this camera so much! I take tons of pictures of my kids. The first few pictures I took were on auto and they were amazing. The quality is over the top! It is very very easy to use and the manual is very informative. It feels good and solid in your hands, not too large. The battery lasts a long time as well. ...

Review of Nikon D40x by

Advantages: Good photo quality, low price
Disadvantages: a bit heavier

It uses SD memory card to store the photos taken. It has a lots of photo options which is really essential for a professional photographer . The camera has auto white balance (but not much useful, I think) .But the different shooting modes of the camera is really awesome ...

LOVE my Nikon D70s
Review of Nikon D70s by
brittann
Advantages: light weight, ease of use, ability to use as a professional piece of equipment
Disadvantages: dust on sensor happens...as I'm sure other camera varieties deal with too.
I am a professional photographer and adore this camera. It has such ease of use, it is of fantastic quality and offers me the ability to do what I need to do for my business. I have only one small complaint. I am plagued by dust on my sensor and I hate having to pay to have it cleaned. I have learned ways to get it clean on my own, but I am forever paranoid when trying to do it myself. I wish there was a more dust resistant sensor in there. I don't ... ...would be a fantastic idea if they did. But, I am easily able to change lenses, the viewfinder is adjustable to my needs, the viewing screen in the back is big enough to view what I need to see but doesn't take up the entire back of the camera. The weight is easy to manage. I can be on a shoot for hours at a time and not feel the frustration of an overbearing camera in my hands. I truly love this camera. I may upgrade someday. But, I will ALWAYS keep ...
