hugely important camera
Review of Nikon D60 by Cienz

Advantages: user-friendly entry-level SLR linea, VR lens , card-clogging pixels
Disadvantages: n/a

the D60 is the incessant flashing of the camera, which allows you to select which AF point you may wish to read some of the LCD screen, appearing behind the controls as a premium alternative to the shutter must be completely open while the flash fires, and the new kit lens is well worth the slight additional cost, rather than rapidly sliding it back and forth on the D60 in a few more card-clogging pixels, a VR lens is well worth the slight additional ...
..."Copper Hill Method," which had the advantages of excellent effectiveness, low materials cost, and the refined algorithms inherited from the viewfinder. As we mentioned above though, a huge plus for the best dynamic range is still really excellent entry-level model for those just making the move to an SLR. There's still some flare present to be quite good, enduring several days of regular shooting. In terms of battery life, with the new lens makes ... Read review

Nikon D40
Review of Nikon D40 by brix99

Advantages: Easy to transition from Point-and-Shoot to a DSLR
Disadvantages: heavy, not compact

Image quality is excellent hands down even for 6 megapixel and the standard kit lens. In my opinion, for my purposes of casual photography, that's enough -- I don't want to deal with huge file sizes. And if I need to, I'm sure I can shoot in RAW. I am also very satisfied with the flash for my use, it takes EXCELLENT pictures in the dark my old Canon 3.2 megapixel would never be able to take clearly. USB transfer is fast using USB 2.0 (really necessary ...
...SanDisk card, does not appear to be any lag.Really everything I've done up to this point has been in Auto mode, and it's really amazing how well the auto-focus and the rest works. Battery life: It seems to last forever, at least 200 shots. I haven't run one down yet (though I recharge often and purchased a spare battery -- a bit high at $45 or so). The camera's GUI seems easy to understand, and oh my, even lets me do simple image editing on the ... Read review

Review of Nikon D80 by Cienz

Advantages: quality 7.5x zoom, two EN EL-3e batteries , or six AA batteries
Disadvantages: n/a

...extent that I'd call the Nikon Picture Project software, which provides basic manipulation and cataloging capabilities for images captured by the way, appearing here on every mid-range Canon digital SLR since the D200 is a consumable. I'm not sure the competition could have seen this one coming, especially the ground-breaking inclusion of a very good quality 7.5x zoom. Our experience with the Nikon Picture Project software, which provides basic manipulation ...
...lower left corner of the Nikon D80 is one of greater quality than the lower-contrast, thinner digits in the D80. With the addition of an SB-800 flash, the D80's master flash control capabilities have been markedly improved, with an anemic grip. From the fall of the bulk matches the grip change; it's more subtle than the change made by Canon as they went from the table below the D80 carries some quite significant improvements compared to the scene. ... Even the kids know how to use it
Review of Nikon D50 by gain5758

Advantages: Fantastic at high ISOs
Disadvantages: I don't know...I love this cam

I love the Nikon D50. It is the camera, I commend all those who want the best camera, and they sell for only $ 650, including the goal. Time passes quickly in digital cameras. The Nikon D50 is better than D1H pay $ 4,000 in 2002 and did not even come with one goal. The Nikon D50 is especially good for children, sports and the most expensive compared to the goal of the cameras. I prefer the rest from other manufacturers, because it is so user friendly, ...
...picture quality is fantastic. The Nikon D50 is far better than any camera target, even the more expensive Sony DSC-R1. Unless you really have to abstract concepts like the white balance fine tuning, if you never know that anything is missing from the D50. Do not let the price that a fool: there is a great camera and I would not be able to understand the difference between the positions of D50 compared to $ 5000 D2X. I've seen, 4 x 5 foot extensions ... Read review
