...the price and the quality. It is a very sturdy and heavy. Something you get out of $1000+ cameras, but for $700. I was also pleased with the built -in image stabilization. I can shoot at much slower speeds without a tripod, maybe 2 f-stops. I rarely require a tripod unless it is night or studio.
