My future dSLR
Review of Canon EOS 40D by sirrob

Advantages: Too many to mention and some are laid out already in my review.
Disadvantages: Outweights the good quality of the benefits that you could get.

Since my Canon IXUS 850 is already 3 years old and eventhough I still love it's features and its easy functionality but I believe it's time already to upgrade on my camera. I have made my own research regarding what's best to buy and most importantly what suits your interest. I believe that it is not more about how good and how competent the gadget is but it's more on how at ease you are with the product you have on hand. The 40D is what I am setting ...
...But another good feature of Canon 40D is the highlight tone priority that lets you get a better picture even in bright highlights, during broad daylight to portraits in sunlight. There;s just too much of the advantage than what you don't like of it. It's time to say goodbye with point and shoot and embrace the revolutionary evolution of dSLR. ... Read review

Pentax K10D
Review of Pentax K10D by kissouraces

Advantages: picture quality, features
Disadvantages: pricetag, size

...excellent experience with photography store Pentax K 100D. I decided to have a look at the K 10D at my local photography store to compare the features. The K 10 D sports at 10 megapixel range over the K 100D 6 megapixel limit. I was quite disappointed. There are actually few awe-inspiring new features, and it doesn't justify the difference in price between the two models. You be far better off with a K 100D in terms of value for money. However, ... Review of Canon Rebel Xsi by west757

Advantages: Easy to use, lightweight, versatile
Disadvantages: None.

I have owned the Canon Rebel Xsi for two years now and love it! It is simple to use, but powerful for all the shots I take. I use it to record my daughter's field hockey and softball games as well as all the important moments in our family's life. I have also used it for portraits, action photos and nature shots. It has great resolution (for editing) and superior ease of use. It connects simply to the computer where I use IPhoto to manipulate the ...
...have had no problem switching the lenses or settings. If you are looking for an easy to use camera with multiple settings and lots of options this is the camera for you. I would recommend it highly to both novices and experienced individuals since each will find the camera suits their needs. ... Read review
