Canon EOS 40D
Review of Canon EOS 40D by dorian151

Advantages: Good quality
Disadvantages: Expensive

This Canon EOS 40D camera is one of the best of its kind. Being terribly easy to set up, with a great design and look about it, this camera definately makes my top ten in all that I have owned. The camera has a very distinctive and comfortable shape allowing it to sit nicely in your hands without causing strain. The photo quality is amazing too, edges are all sharp and there was no blurry or pixelated edges on the pictures I took. There are alot ... Read review

Canon rocks it with the Digital Rebel
Review of Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi by klunsford11

Advantages: Rapid start up
Disadvantages: A bit noisy at highest ISO

The Canon Digital Rebel was my first DSLR and I would absolutely reccomend it to those looking to advance from a point and shoot camera. It has a newly designed 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor plus a ton of new features including a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, an exclusive EOS Integrated Cleaning System, and Canon's Picture Style technology, all in a lightweight, comfortable to hold body. The auto modes leave all the guess work to the amateurs and the Manual ... Canon ESO 450D One of the Good Cameras.
Review of Canon Rebel Xsi by bapidebu

Advantages: 450D is the large 3" LCD screen (400D 2.5in).
Disadvantages: No Disadvantages

The Canon EOS 450D / Rebel XSi is a powerful DSLR from the Canon and a worthy successor to the best-selling EOS 400D / XTi. A small body with a far wider range of functionality and features, without a doubt the ESO 450D will have to do more today to prove itself in an increasingly crowded market. Pick up the 450D / XSi and your first impression is one of a surprisingly light camera ¨C indeed it¡¯s noticeably lighter and thinner than its predecessor, ...
...is also the first entry-level Canon DSLR to use the Secure Digital format. It's a popular format with the compact digital camera owners. Canon will be hoping to lure into DSLR ownership. SDHC is now available in similar sizes and speeds to the CF format used by the 300D, 350D and 400D. You'll notice when you look at the back of the 450D is the large 3" LCD screen (400D 2.5in). It's great to look at and makes pixel-peeping much more fun to do. Avoid ... Read review

My Review
Review of Nikon D50 by fivekids7

Advantages: Great pictures,
Disadvantages: Big and difficult to carry when busy

This is a great camera for taking pictures. I love the flexibility I have with this camera, and that it takes the pictures so quickly that I can't tell the difference between this and a regular SLR. I love it... I have 5 children and use it all the time. I bought this camera wanting to use it with the extra lenses and even with the regular lens have been extremely happy with the pictures I have taken. This is a camera I would recommend to anyone ...
...normal use or for a more professional looking picture. The only downfall with this camera is the size and it is not a camera you can easily carry when you are busy, but for planned events it is a great investment. I have used this camera to take pictures of my children and even though I am not experienced I have been happy with the results. However if you are looking for a camera to carry with you, you may want to check into something smaller. ... Read review
