Review of Sony a (alpha) DSLR-A200K by
Manda
Advantages: Great for out doors
Disadvantages: none yet
This camera, along with looking good, is pretty cheap for its quality. It's great for taking along hiking or camping; this is primarily an outdoor camera. It takes okay indoors, but much better outdoors. The flash settings aren't the best, but when the flash is turned off is when you get the best quality from this camera. As a photographer, I use this camera mostly for the outdoors, but on occasion I have used it for family holidays and other indoor ...

Canon rocks it with the Digital Rebel
Review of Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi by
klunsford11
Advantages: Rapid start up
Disadvantages: A bit noisy at highest ISO
The Canon Digital Rebel was my first DSLR and I would absolutely reccomend it to those looking to advance from a point and shoot camera. It has a newly designed 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor plus a ton of new features including a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, an exclusive EOS Integrated Cleaning System, and Canon's Picture Style technology, all in a lightweight, comfortable to hold body. The auto modes leave all the guess work to the amateurs and the Manual ...

My Review
Review of Nikon D50 by
fivekids7
Advantages: Great pictures,
Disadvantages: Big and difficult to carry when busy
This is a great camera for taking pictures. I love the flexibility I have with this camera, and that it takes the pictures so quickly that I can't tell the difference between this and a regular SLR. I love it... I have 5 children and use it all the time. I bought this camera wanting to use it with the extra lenses and even with the regular lens have been extremely happy with the pictures I have taken. This is a camera I would recommend to anyone ... ...normal use or for a more professional looking picture. The only downfall with this camera is the size and it is not a camera you can easily carry when you are busy, but for planned events it is a great investment.
I have used this camera to take pictures of my children and even though I am not experienced I have been happy with the results. However if you are looking for a camera to carry with you, you may want to check into something smaller. ...

Review of Canon EOS 5D by
asomormridul
Advantages: High quality pictures, easy to operate, lighter weight.
Disadvantages: Price is quite high.
...been through the ranges of Canon products, my eyes stopped by the Canon EOS 5D model. My hobby is photography and in this relation I took up photo reporting as one of my many sideline jobs. As I have interest in clicking photographs, obviously I would have some interests in quality lenses and products with advanced technology too. In todays world of digital SLR cameras, like the Nikon D50 for the family fun, Canon EOS 5D is one equipped with advanced ... ...body weighing around 810grams. The Canon EOS 5D uses superlative EF lenses without a conversion factor. The exclusive DIGIC II imaging engine is what the reason for high quality images which can create envy among photo lovers. The high speed, high quality DIGIC II imaging engine is used to process data from the CMOS sensor at a very high speed giving the photographs that exceptional look. The DIGIC II image processor is a new technoloty used in Canon ...

Review of Nikon D50 by

Advantages: Picture quality, ease of operation, cheaper price, brand name.
Disadvantages: Its appearance compared to other digital SLR is dull.
...someone have to say about Nikon Products in the field of photography? They had build such an image that whatever the new product they may launch, they are to storm the market with a rush of buyers. Anyway, it may not happen some of the times though it is supposed to be. I occasionally do photo reporting to a local newspaper and in this connection I am well introduced to most of the reporters of that newspaper. We have a group of photographers who ... ...about his purchase of the Nikon D50 for personal use. I rushed to have a look over the phone to realize two other friends of mine were already there nevigating through the camera. I had a look on the manuals as I know little about cameras.
The camera does not attract one by its look and that is where Nicon never gave a thought. They are more concerned about the lense quality and so they lauch their products with superior lenses. The camera is designed ...
