Advantages: Great for out doors Disadvantages: none yet
This camera, along with looking good, is pretty cheap for its quality. It's great for taking along hiking or camping; this is primarily an outdoor camera. It takes okay indoors, but much better outdoors. The flash settings aren't the best, but when the flash is turned off is when you get the best quality from this camera. As a photographer, I use this camera mostly for the outdoors, but on occasion I have used it for family holidays and other indoor ...

Advantages: Great quaility, Beautiful Colors Disadvantages: Need to buy card seperatly to hold more pictures.
...very small and cute camera and I really recommend buying it! Nikon cameras are definitely the way to go if you want a good shot, better quality than any other, and beautiful colors, and for only about $750 it's better than any camera you have probably ever used before. ...

Advantages: good pictures. Intelligent design. User friendly Disadvantages: low quality at high iso's.
This is a great camera for the price. It is not by any means a professional camera, but it is perfect for a photo enthusiast / ameatur photographer.
The kit lens is acceptable, but it is cheap and I would recommend that anyone wanting to take serious pictures, aspiring to be a professional or entering contests should spend the money to upgrade it right away. Soccer moms and snapshot takers should be more than satisfied.
The menu provides access ... ...up exactly the way you want it. There are also several easy to use automatic modes just as you would find on any snapshot camera, which makes things a lot simpler for a beginner. I have only one complaint: in very low light situations, it is hard to get a high quality picture without a tripod. The iso only goes up to 1600 and it starts to be incredibly noisy past 400. 800 is acceptable but I wouldn't try to make an 8X10 print with it, that's for ...

Advantages: easy to use Disadvantages: a little expensive
I use this camera for my work - I am the editor of a small weekly newspaper in Montana- and I love it! I also use it to take hundreds of pictures of my new baby, and for taking professional photos of seniors and weddings. I love it because it is so simple to use, and produces very high quaility photos. It also has great attachments - like a telephoto lens, that are easy to attach and use. I have used my camera in a variety of settings - indoor basketball ...

Advantages: The perfect camera Disadvantages: A little face. . . But good
What I like about the Canon EOS 40D is ready to work immediately, it is very fast. After activating the camera vibrates the filter to remove dust, and this operation will not take even one second. In addition, the cleaning of the sensor stops when you press the shutter release, which always takes precedence. Llevo 2600 pictures taken and have not seen or weed dust yet. * Stresses being very quiet. And when we can also use objectives USM shoot almost ... ...is a click dry. In places such as a church or a theater is a marvel as it is not annoying anyone. * What I liked so much the joystick to change the focus points. In my opinion, is too small and have problems to select a focus point at the corners ...
