The Kodak EasyShare EX1011 is a good quality display making full use of the 480X800 capability. Certainly not like a monitor but then it is not usually going to be viewed from as close as a monitor. I bought the Pandigital PAN7001W01. The first one didn't work at all, so I exchanged it. The second has worked fine, no problems. It actually works great as a photo frame. It is easy to load pictures from a memory card. They are shrunken and cropped so they will display correctly on the wide screen. The image is extremely sharp and clear. The photo frame has a beautiful wide screen, but it will not play any video in widescreen format so there are black letter boxes at the sides. I could not get it to play back any video that I editted on the computer, then saved as an avi and it will not play any video other that avi.
