Mean Cam
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 by
wolverene
Advantages: Handy with lots of features
Disadvantages: plastic shot button can take a beating
The Sony Cybershot DSC-W50. Our family had this one for a long time. It's not exactly the top of the line today but serves the purpose very well. It has withstood lot of abuse at the beach, picnics, tours, mountain trips, fell of a table probably more than 10 times. At 6.0 megapixels it has aided me in my work splendidly. The zoom is satisfactory though I would love to buy a zoom attachment one day. It's not as sleek, small and handy compared to ... ...backpack or my pocket. My Sony Cybershot took a lot of beating and the shot button soon gave up and broke because it was made of plastic. To get it repaired at the Sony service center the whole top assembly had to be replaced and the service center promptly repaired it in 2 weeks since the assembly part had to be ordered from the north or out of the country. Now it's back and works like new. ...

Cybershot SONY camera
Review of Sony Cybershot DSC-W170 by
animapersaxxx
Advantages: easy to use, compact, good picture
Disadvantages: complicate hand settings
I bought this camera few months ago. I really like it. It works great and the pictures are always good. Anyway it has a little lack in the night option. Unless you are a robot able to stop completly arm/hand pics are fuzzy. The body of the camera is pretty sturdy, mine has few scratches on it even if i dont treat it exactly with the gloves. Pretty simple to use, maybe not for beginners (even though with the automatic settings anybody can use it, ...

A good camera for home users
Review of Kodak Easyshare M763 by
vsrnanduri
Advantages: the color quality, the number of picture modes
Disadvantages: no power flash
Kodak EasyShare M763 Digital Camera is a good camera with a lower price tag. With 7.2 MP it has all the qualities a normal home user needs. The color quality of the images is good. I have test used the camera for one of my friends. I took about 15 pictures with it. The wide range of picture modes gives you a number of choices. With burst mode you can take pictures of quick action, the self timer is good. Some them are good. But I feel that you do ...

CYBERSHOTS MADE EASY
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 by
cloneshouse
Advantages: crisp and clear pictures, small and easy to take about
Disadvantages: plastic made
When i saw this sony light camera with my friend, what appealed to me was the metal brush surface, and i said i was going to get it,even at that price i didnt mind;since i started taking pictures with it,have not regretted putting my money on it;stays in the pocket easily, produces crisp pictures, colours are reproduced well, the shooting speed is quite phenomenal and a small optical view finder is placed just above the camera's 2.5 inches screen.it has ... ...menus are so easy to play with, the shutter responds so quickly.the zoom lens doesnt hang onlike some cameras and am much more impressed by the colour of the camera which makes it usable for people that easily get things dirty,it is "dirt enabled" and what more can i say,it doesnt make any noise when connected to a computer, and pictures on monitors are lovely;however, the body make is plastic, which i have reservations with, but you know What?i dont ...

Not worth the irritation
Review of Nikon Coolpix 5600 by
casisas
Advantages: Durable
Disadvantages: Time delay is annoying
I bought this camera when it first came out and i still own it. It is now my back up camera though. I liked the camera when I first got it but eventually became rather irritated with it. I'm not sure if it is just my camera that has this defect, but I don't think it is. It takes a long time between pictures to be ready to take another picture any time you use the flash; and it seems like when you don't use the flash all the pictures come out with ...
