The Sony Cybershot DSC-W50. Our family had this one for a long time. It's not exactly the top of the line today but serves the purpose very well. It has withstood lot of abuse at the beach, picnics, tours, mountain trips, fell of a table probably more than 10 times. At 6.0 megapixels it has aided me in my work splendidly. To get it repaired at the Sony service center the whole top assembly had to be replaced and the service center promptly repaired it in 2 weeks since the assembly part had to be ordered from the north or out of the country. I bought this camera few months ago. I really like it. It works great and the pictures are always good. Anyway it has a little lack in the night option. Unless you are a robot able to stop completly arm/hand pics are fuzzy. The body of the camera is pretty sturdy, mine has few scratches on it even if i dont treat it exactly with the gloves.
