Good Choice for Outdoor Photography
Review of Nikon Coolpix S1 by LaurelK

Advantages: Good outdoor modes
Disadvantages: Not-so-great indoor results, especially at night.

A handy camera to have around, take on trips, etc. It's probably not a good choice for a photography student or for taking paid photographs. Various easily-selected modes allow you to select what kind of photographs you want to take. There are options for indoor, outdoor, portrait, landscape, party, etc. The outdoor quality is great, but the indoor quality leaves something to be desired. I found the beach mode surprisingly useful. Pictures taken ...
...pictures taken in the normal outdoor mode. Also the sunset mode produced some beautiful results. I was less-than-thrilled with the landscape feature. I think it requires a tripod to get things matching up right. So don't bother unless you've got one. All in all a pretty good camera, especially if you'll be taking most of your pictures outdoors. ... Read review

Casio Exilim Card EX-S600
Review of Casio EXILIM CARD EX-S600 by orangepieate10

Advantages: small, easy to carry around
Disadvantages: none

We bought this product two years ago. It is still in a very good condition. Before my husband bought this camera he made a lot of researching and comparing to other cameras. What we like about this is small, sleek and sexy. The viewing screen is bigger. It has Best shot Mode. It is also a video coverage friendly which you can download immediately in "You Tube" or share it in the "IM". I remember when I send a video message to my grandmother's 90th ... Read review

Our Old Reliable
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P71 by menagerie

Advantages: It is a cybershot -- pocket camera
Disadvantages: Uses 2 AA batteries

...2001 we purchased our first Sony Cybershot Digital Still Camera (DSC-P71). This camera has photographed everything from the frosty deep-snow mornings working the winter season in Yellowstone National Park, to tolerating the heat and blowing sand of summer in Qatar (near Bahrain) while assigned there with the Air Force. If someone needs a camera, Dad will loan his out. Everyone in the family has used this camera in every situation, and it has never ...
...DSC-P71 is getting to be quite ancient in the line of Cybershots. It's body is bulky compared to the palm-sized W-80 that I keep in my pocket. This bulkiness makes it difficult to take quick, one-handed photos, but that doesn't affect the quality of the picture. Picture quality - we never intended this camera to produce the big framed pictures printed on canvas, but you know what? That can happen with the 3.2 mega pixel quality of this camera. What's ... Sony Cybershot DSC-T7
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T7 by andyel2023

Advantages: Slim and handy..
Disadvantages: none

I have alot to say with this digicam. From its thin build that is only 0.6 inch to its outstanding performance. This slim cam is very easy to carry wherever you wanted to go because of its size. It has a 5.1 megapixel CCD, a Carl Zeiss lens system, a 5 point autofocus, and 10 selectable scenes - all in one cam just to give its users a delightful picture for memory keeps. T7's was really designed and built properly. Its battery is locked securely ...
...One for unlocking and the other is for letting the battery out. And the slide that covers the lens and the flash slides pretty good and fast. T7 has burst mode feature that takes 9 shots at only 1.2 seconds per frame and the speed burst that takes 4 shots within .75 seconds per frame. It can also take MPEGs but in a VGA resolution with sound - good for capturing funny moments. And T7 stays alive for 70 minutes. ... Read review
