Fujifilm FinePix S3000
Review of Fujifilm FinePix S3000 by

Advantages: Great quality pictures, x6 Optical Zoom
Disadvantages: Batteries drain when not in use
The camera can also take video shots although only at low frame sizes and only at 10 frames per second. Its not really intended as a replacement for a true digital camcorder. A 320x240 pixels can be taken up to a maximum of 60 seconds per shot. At 160x120 the shot length can be up to 4 minutes.
The simplest mode is Auto. Here the camera chooses the right settings for any condition. I have used this most frequently and it always seems to produce ...

Great "my first BIG camera" choice
Review of Fujifilm FinePix S7000 by
Instantaneous_Ponderer
Advantages: Very massive (if you like it), comfortable ring control.
Disadvantages: No stabilizer, extremely weak with ISO settings.
This was my second digital camera as I got into photography and wanted something more than billions and millions of megapixels and was very budget limited. Camera turned out to be very good choice for beginner. I especially liked its similarities to SLR in terms of design. Found zoom/focus ring to be very ergonomic and of better accuracy than buttons, even if someone says opposite.
What's bad with it? Batteries. Though I got newer version when they ... ...I expected.
ISO control. This is practically useless. I was able to use only 200 while higher resulted in so much noise, that I think I can redraw by hand in better quality.
No image stabilizer. Why put 6x zoom lenses and skip image stabilizer? This is purely marketing trick as it's practically impossible to use full zoom without good tripod. Knowing this camera is in budget range I doubt someone buying it could afford decent tripod.
All in all ...

A wonderful camera for even an amateur!
Review of Fujifilm FinePix 6900 Zoom by
bizzimommiofboyz
Advantages: quality pictures, easy to use, great zoom, many extra functions
Disadvantages: lots to learn...but only if you so choose!
...I was always borrowing their FujiFilm Fine Pix 6900 so I could take top quality pictures of my children for special events. So last christmas I got a nice surprise when they actually gave this camera to me for keeps! I was completely shocked, and I couldn't have been more thrilled! This camera is pretty much fail proof. I am not a professional photographer and really haven't figured out many of the different settings on this camera. Each picture ... ...pace while taking wonderful pictures along the journey.
Though I am far from being an expert I have to recommend this camera. It takes super clear pictures of my children that will last a lifetime. Capture your memories with the FujiFilm Fine Pix 6900. You will not be dissapointed! ...

Fujifilm FinePix 4900 Zoom
Review of Fujifilm FinePix 4900 Zoom by
widya
Advantages: Excellent Picture Quality
Disadvantages: Not Many Features
While not exactly feature-packed, you do get an adequate amount of specialities as is appropriate for it's hefty price tag. The autofocus works brilliantly (although not through glass, or fences etc.) and with the flash on it seems to cope admirably with poor light conditions.
The colour quality is excellent in the pictures with bright, vibrant natural shades. Clearly defined shadows and marvellously varied mid-range tones. It really is the best ... ...The only faults I could pick up are:
The design of the camera, whilst very sexy, makes the beast a little unbalanced in the hand which, if you're not careful, leads to shaky or slanted pictures. Also, you do require a very steady hand to get the most from this piece of kit.
Overall, if you can afford it, buy it, you really aren't going to get much better. ...

Canon
Review of Canon PowerShot SX10 IS by
bhushanbunde
Advantages: Great pictures, nice video modes
Disadvantages: not comfortable in hand, slow zoom
20x zoom is phenomenal. Simple to use. Reasonable price. Unless you're a professional photographer, it's hard to distinguish pictures taken with the SX10 IS and the more expensive dSLRs. (At least I couldn't tell and I 've had them both!)
