The NIkon Coolpix is a small reliable camera. The sd card that comes with it however is a bit limited so you might have to go out and buy another if you want to keep all the photos. It had a good amount of features like video, flash, 'scene'-whatever that may mean, and if you don't like the lighting on your picture you can use the camera's 'd-lighting'.
