Review of Kodak EASYSHARE Z712 IS by
notyabby
Advantages: super zoom ,good picture quality
Disadvantages: wimpy small sensor
The Z712 is a surprisingly compact and lightweight camera smaller and lighter than any of its immediate competitors
Kodak's EasyShare Z712 IS is a nice 12x optical zoom Camera.
It Has optical image stabilization; manual exposure controls.
It Has noticeable fringing and artifacts in images; noisy images at ISO 800 and ISO 1,600.
It has a minimal shutter lag, an excellent boot-up speed, and very good recycle time between two shots, the Z712 IS ... ...Thsi camera is relatively small in size which makes the Z712 IS one of the more portable superzoom cameras.
One-handed shooting is possible, since almost all the controls are on the right-hand side of the camera

clear pictures
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE Z812 IS by
jabbusch-girl
Advantages: nice functions, clear photos
Disadvantages: battery
This camera is a really good advantage to have. It takes really nice pictures , which is so clear and not fuzzy at all. Any one could use to take fantastic pictures. Like you were a real photographer. It has zoom features and a lot of other nice features. It is not hard to use. It does take an expensive kind of battery but is well worth it because the quailty is so nice. The look is very nice and it is very easy to carry around. It has a function ...

KODAK Easyshare Z710
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE Z710 by
thatwriterdude
Advantages: Rugged design, comfortable feel, great zoom and excellent editing features
Disadvantages: Easyshare software is a memory hog
...the KODAK Easyshare software that came with it. It is a true memory hog. I eventually, (quickly), uninstalled it from my computer because the extra boot time was making me crazy.
Other than that, the camera itself has become a trusted ally when I am out in the boondocks. ...

My Favorite
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE Z740 by
Lejandro
Advantages: Excellent picture quality, 10X zoom impressive detail
Disadvantages: 16mb built-in memory, bulky, night mode not the best
This Digicam is one of the best out there in terms of picture clarity and quality. Though this has been in the market for 3 years now, it still beats some of the latest ones. Best feature of this camera for me is its 10X zoom. Initially, I bought it for my ebay business selling small items that I need to get good picture of. These items were an inch big and this camera just blows this up in amazing detail. On the downside, I don't like the fact that ...

Kodak Easyshare DX6490- a family cam
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE DX6490 by
StarrDust
Advantages: 10X optical zoom, very easy to use, good image quality
Disadvantages: No manual or white balance focus, pictures taken without flash tend to be blurry
In my opinion, the Kodak Easyshare DX6490 was just made for those looking to take family pictures and, perhaps, those just getting into photography. It is a very easy-to-use midsize camera with a good electronic viewfinder and LCD monitor. True photographers may get annoyed with its lack of Manual Focus and Manual White Balance though nearly every other type of manual control is available. This camera comes with a decent amount of settings: Automatic, ... ...I really like the Kodak EasyShare software that comes with this camera. It does not take long to pop up and editing pictures is a snap. It comes with Crop, Red Eye, Enhance, Brightness/Contrast, Exposure, Rotate and Fun Effects (which includes Black And White and Sepia Tone). You can print, email and even order your photos online by using this program. ...
