This camera quality is great. This camera is a money-wise to spent on. I do not read the manual book but this camera is user friendly. With many button and quick icon on the button, you can easily tell what the button used for. The 5 navigation button is a little bit hard to work with, even with small finger. I originally had the Fujifilm F10, which I liked for the long battery life and ISO 1600 capability. I bought this product in spite of the 12MP, not because of it; who needs the extra pixels, they presumably reduce battery life and quality? The rated battery life is a bit tight at 230 shots per charge (vs 500 shots for the F10). So I cannot travel with abandon as before without the charger because sometimes I end up in the 300-350 shots per trip range. ...

I rate the photo quality as "high", but then I'm a snapshotter, not a National Geographic photographer. I did some testing at ISO 6400. I used this camera once on a trip with my friend and I was not impressed at all. I own a Fuji and maybe that is just it. I am spoiled. The photos taken by this camera just did not have the quality of my other cameras. I also found that the camera was small and hard to hold which made it hard to focus.
