Excellent for the price!
Review of Canon PowerShot A580 by bubbadawnie2u2

Advantages: Small, powerful, quick
Disadvantages: Basic software

I absolutely love this digital camera! It has a great stabilize feature for zoom shots, which is powerful enough to grab shots from 100 yards away. All of the features are easy to use. Choose from close up, outdoor, party, kids and animals, indoors, night time and many others. There is a red eye feature that works very well, even on animals. The software that came with the camera is handy for basic digital photo enhancement, cropping, red eye removal ... Read review

CALIFORNIA IN LIVING COLOR!
Review of Canon PowerShot A470 by SimpIyCrazy

Advantages: Easy to use, auto focus. GREAT pictures.
Disadvantages: I only used it for two weeks. Couldn't find anything wrong.

...weather. My nephew has this Canon Power Shot and since he wasn't using it, I got to. My new friends in Colorado couldn't believe the BEAUTIFUL pictures I took with this camera. We were able to easily transfer them to the computer at my sister's house and email them to me. I received them in my email and printed them right up. Excellent pictures, easy camera to use, auto focus, compact. I also have a better Canon camera of my own. Love the quality ... Read review

The Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph
Review of Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH by dexter486

Advantages: Great Features, Easy to Use, Great Quality Photos, Good Battery Life and Storage Options, Size
Disadvantages: Some Flash Drop Off, Rechargable Battery Pack,

The Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph is a great camera. When researching digital cameras online prior to making my purchase of this camera, I was surprised to find so many features in such a little package. I was worried when I ordered this camera as I had read a couple of moderate reviews; however I have been completely satisfied with the camera. It is easy to use and comes with some great features usually reserved for cameras in slightly larger ...
...liked are; first, there is a small amount of flash drop off in late night pictures so it would have been nice to have a bit stronger flash (however it still takes a really great picture). Second, this camera comes with a rechargeable (replaceable) battery which I have never been partial to; I would have preferred standard replaceable AA or AAA batteries. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for great vacation or family event photos ... Read review

canon powershot
Review of Canon PowerShot A590 IS by nave4577

Advantages: i love this camera
Disadvantages: a bit expensive

While variable zoom is understandably unlikely on a camera this small, the zoom feature here is jerky and difficult manage: it often zooms in and then haltingly zooms back out a bit, to the degree that the first half of the zoom-range progresses in piecemeal steps instead of continuously. The camera also lacks RAW support and anything beyond SD support, though neither is important in the P&S market. A possible deal-killer, though, is the camera's ...
...killing any chance for rapid picture-taking. Otherwise, the camera has an excellent array of features for a gamut of shooting styles: for literal point-and-shootists, it has a capable full-auto mode and a bevy of scene-modes; for mid-range users with a specific application in mind, it has both shutter-select and aperture-select modes, and, surprisingly enough, the camera features a full manual-mode that allows independent selection of shutter-speeds, ... Coolpix P50 has popular features!
Review of Nikon Coolpix P50 by muskafella

Advantages: Uses AA batteries, wide angle lens
Disadvantages: No shutter priority

The Nikon Coolpix P50 is pretty awesome! It runs on two "AA" batteries, takes pretty good quality picutres, lots of memory, and its easy to use. There are not that many cameras with a similar style and set of features to the Coolpix P50. The Coolpix P50 is a neat and tidy compact camera. It also has a grip on the front to help you hold the camera steady. Some disadvantages where the shutter lag. I was able to take a single photo in 0.46 seconds ...
...single photo and 15.35 seconds for five. I like the Nikon Coolpix P50. It offers fair value for money and is easy to use. It may not fit into a pocket, but I like the design and style of the camera. I would recommend this camera to a friend. ... Read review
