Say Cheese!
Review of Canon PowerShot A570 IS by xmandiex

Advantages: Point-and-shoot, easy, lots of functions, beautiful picture quality
Disadvantages: Some portrait shots can be grainy, takes a while in between photos to save

This camera made me love photography. For years I struggled with a camera that had been a gift from my parents, an HP so old and flat-out bad that it was actually discontinued years before I received it. I didn't realize that not all cameras were like that until, on a whim, I bought this camera. I *love* it. There are several settings - including portrait, landscape, kids and pets, and my personal favourite... aquarium. I have fish, of whom I love ...
...shot of them it can snap a beautiful colourful photo that I can be proud to show off. The camera itself is fairly easy - point and shoot - although some of the features (such as the macro feature, which I adore) - can be difficult. I suggest skimming the manual before so much as turning the camera on to be sure any problems you have aren't simply user error. I've had this camera for about a year now and I don't plan to replace it any time soon! ... Read review

Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH
Review of Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH by mayoks

Advantages: Very quick shot
Disadvantages: Small in a mans hands?

I love this camera! I have a 15 month old and bought it when he was a baby. Our old camera delayed so long before the actual shot was taken...not so with this camera! You can even hold down the button to have it keep taking shots over and over so that you really get that picture you're hoping for. Price is very reasonable too. In fact...we bought ours on ebay from a dealer and got all the extras too. The battery it comes with lasts forever before ...
...had to charge ours a handful of times in the whole time that we've had it. It also focuses on the object that is most likely what you want to take the picture of. It gives one or multiple squares that you can use as your center in order for the camera to focus on what it needs too. Would recommend to anyone! ... Read review

The Canon Powershot A550 Checks In
Review of Canon PowerShot A550 by bapidebu

Advantages: Best Lens,Picture Quality Is Awesome
Disadvantages: No disadvantages asper my opinion

...those great images, making the Canon PowerShot A550 a truly good budget camera. The Canon PowerShot A550 lives up to its A- rating, reported by several different Internet sources. The A550's straightforward mode dial is backed up by a relatively easy to use function menu. There are more camera settings available through the main menu, but you'll find less settings there than on most other Canon cameras. Without all the frills, the Canon A550 still ...
...owners would love using the Canon PowerShot A550 since they could do as much photographing as they like without ever moving the camera from its green AUTO position. If you can point and shoot, the A550 will typically give you great results. Good performance and solid images are what a camera needs to succeed, so the A550 is destined to be a success since it readily delivers both. The A550 will not easily slip into your pants pocket; still, it is ... Read review

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P100
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P100 by ghenessa

Advantages: handy
Disadvantages: none

...go. This digital camera from Sony is so handy that you can bring it anywhere to capture your moments with a dash of artistry you can control its zoom lenses to get the perfect angle that you want and flash, and Walla all the moments will come alive. You don't need to buy those very bulky and big cameras, unless you are paparazzi. The settings of it are not hard to learn. This is good for travelers who love to take pictures along the way or even for ... Read review

Nikon S210 is a great everyday use Camera
Review of Nikon Coolpix S210 by susieandrebafan

Advantages: Excellent Photos when subject is not moving, Excellent Night Quality
Disadvantages: Blurry Photos if Subject is Moving, Blurry cropping Feature

For the most part my Nikon S210 has been a great camera. The only problem I have had with it is you cannot get decent pictures when a subject is moving. For example any pictures I take at my nephews football game will come out blurry. While it has a photo cropping feature, if you crop a photo it makes the photo blurry. But this was not meant to be a "photographers" camera so that is completely understandable. On the positive side this camera takes ...
...have taken in complete darkness looks as if it is not dark at all. Photos are crystal clear as long as your subject is not moving as I mentioned above. I recomend this camera if you just need a great camera for everyday use. Such as birthday parties Christmas etc. If you are looking to do any type of amateur photography I don't think this camera would work well for you. If that is your intention upgrade to a higher quality camera.I also would like ... Read review
