I've bought this camera one year ago. And it's still in good shape and function right now. This camera have 7, 2 megapixel resolution with sliding lens cover which also function as a power button. What make it different from other camera is in the lens, V7 lens is completely inside the camera body, so if I made any zooming (up to 7x) it didn't stick out from the camera body. Some other cool features in this camera are the Tracking AF and CCD shift ...
...when shutter is halfway pressed, this will help to get focused when I take photos of my child and pets. While the CCD shift stabilization is work for minimize the camera from shaking when we take pictures. 20x zoom is phenomenal. Simple to use. Reasonable price. Unless you're a professional photographer, it's hard to distinguish pictures taken with the SX10 IS and the more expensive dSLRs.
