The Dell Vostro 200 is a geat computer it uploads fast. It has 1GB of memory. We have most upgrades such as the cd burner and the meadia player which i have absolutly fallen in love with. It pulles my picturs up great and with the 19 inch LCD screen the color is un beleveable. We have ran in some problems but they are only miner for home use. I have owned a gateway 510X personal computer for a few years now. i love it. it has great speed, sufficient RAM, and memory. ...to get used to the Apple Interface...it couldn't have been easier! My mac never crashes, i don't even have an anti virus program on it and it runs beautifully! The only down side i've found so far is that as a musician you have to be incredibly careful with the software and hardware that you buy.
