COMPUTERS

Review of HP Pavilion Elite m9150f - Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz by
darkmentor28
Advantages: Very fast powerful processor and lots of RAM.
Disadvantages: Not so Elite having a 256MB video card.
...review will be on the HP Pavilion Elite M9150F desktop series. I will explain in detail what it includes and why I pick this choice of its advantage.
This includes a power Intel Quad Core 2 processor known as the Q6600. The clock speed goes up 2.4Ghz however since it has 4 cores it is like running 4 processors all at once and operates extremely fast to get those applications going and made for multi-tasking purposes. The Front Side Bus (FSB) is ... ...through the rest of the hardware such as the motherboard and other hardware devices. The L2 Cache is 8MB -- Wow! Which works very well caching through memory access! The system includes 3GB of DDR2 667Mhz which is enough to run it on the 32-bit Operating System of Windows Vista Home Premium. With the combination of the Quad Core Q6600 and with the RAM you will be able to experience how fast and reliable it is in use for multi-tasking, using different ...

A recommend desktop computer to own!
Review of HP Pavilion a6400f - Pentium Dual Core E2200 2.2 GHz by
darkmentor28
Advantages: Fast, reliable, great for multi-tasking, memory!
Disadvantages: Eventhough not a Core 2 Duo, it runs well!
If you're looking for a low budget desktop to use then this desktop is the answer you're looking for. I am going to explain in details about this desktop and what advantages you can come across when using it.
In includes the processor of the Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2200. The nanometers is 65nm which is ok for a dual core processor. However the L2 Cache is only 1MB when allocating to memory access speaking of your RAM. It is fast, but when it gets ... ...down the process. The RAM included is 3GB of DDR2 667Mhz which is enough room of use and a lot of room while you have applications that are running in the background while you're doing other activities. You'll have enough room to have an antivirus or internet security suite in this system and while you're surfing online using either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and at the same time you might be using Microsoft Office. So to say the mixture ...

Good all around computer
Review of HP Pavilion a1250n - Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2 GHz by
yuanza
Advantages: lot of expansion slots, easy to upgrade
Disadvantages: roller mouse, no remote, obsolete, might break if you install SP3
I have this desktop for almost 3 years, and I experience some problems with this computer. But, the only major problem that I had was when I updated this computer to Windows SP3 which totally messed up the computer, just for your information, don't upgrade this to SP3, the service pack will make the computer unfunctional. You can find a patch to fix this problem on their website, but it's too much trouble for such a useless SP. It upgradeable and ... ...RAM. RAM slots are very hard to fit on, you might break the RAM if you forcefully put it in. Although bundled with media center, this computer don't have tuner which is a shame. It is shipped with roller mouse, and no remote control included, which defeat the media center purpose, but it is a pretty well rounded computer. This computer is very obsolete right now, so I wouldn't recommend you from buying this. ...
