Advantages: Beautiful display, speedy processor, stable and reliable operating system. Disadvantages: Only 1GB of RAM standard, non-upgradable video card, glossy display may become irritating.
The 2.4 GHz iMac is Apple's low-end version of its popular all-in-one desktop computer line, though in actuality, there's nothing very "low-end" about it. It has a built in 20" glossy widescreen display, a very fast Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a gigabyte of RAM standard, 3 USB ports (plus two more on the keyboard), a FireWire 400 and 800 port for faster peripherals, built-in wireless and Bluetooth, an included keyboard and mouse, and a FrontRow remote ... ...may want to consider upgrading off the bat is the RAM, as 1GB may not fully satisfy your needs if you're going to use your iMac for audio/video work. The iMac can support up to 4GB of RAM, which is really more than any average consumer would need by today's standards, but as technology is rapidly growing and software is becoming more and more sophisticated, that 4GB capacity will come in handy in the future.

Advantages: Fast, easy to use, intuitive and no Vista, no viruses, no big ugly box Disadvantages: haven't found any yet...
I am totally sold. I had toyed with the idea of an HP Desktop and went to Best Buy fully intending to buy one. Then the sales guy led me to the Mac section. After a Mac convert talked to me for 15 minutes, I was hooked. No viruses? Instant wireless! No big box! Giant screen! Beautiful graphics, all kinds of built in software, very intuitive. I bought a 500 gig external hard drive to do live backups and to transfer my data from my old laptop. I couldn't be happier. It is lightning fast, easy to use just out of the box. I can't wait to make video productions from my photos. Oh and even better -- no Vista. ...

Advantages: great screen, great speed, great reliability Disadvantages: n/a
This computer is probably up there with the fastest computers I have tried out, (not counting the ridiculous box for graphics design I once used which takes up about one meter squared of space!)
It delivers massive speed and reliability with its ridiculously high 2.8 GHz along with the brilliant twenty four inch screen to go with it!
I loved using this, because it never failed or let me down, and would always do me proud when I tried to install ...

Never again will be an Apple elitist ... although their prices are still men-it into the pockets card accounts golden ... Yet it is fine to say that if you choose a computer in a think like this: iMAC This has a Core 2 Duo processor that ... that, surely you know long ago that this is not a Pentium or "lentium." If you say that designed for users who only need to see their email, chat for a while in the msn, watch videos, play 3D and listen to music ... ...X and do not want to learn how to use it although I recommend you what :)... So do not worry ... Now that you urge the Windows Vista or another version you know, all Apple now Sipe are very compatible with my brand 'favorite' or Microsoft 'Microsopa' ...
