I didn't expect much of the touch screen and wasn't the main reason I purchased it. With that being said, I will say that so far I am impressed with the touch screen. The comments about the screen being jerky and slow seem to be overblown - I didn't experience this. In fact, I was quite surprised when I used IE and browsed with just my fingers on the screen. This Sony system is simply awesome. I went and purchased this unit for my brother in law and I wish I'd kept it. This unit comes with a cd-rw standard, with I-link and a nic card. Each person that has a Sony computer that I know of rave about the technical support and the reliability of the Sony units. My brother in law wanted to add an additional drive and the case is easy to open allowing easy upgrading. The size of the form factor is small, so ... ...easy. Overall, I am going to buy another of these units, I heard that they were selling this units in Japan first and the could not keep them on the shelves there. Sony has finally come around, as this is the least expensive computer in there line up. ...
