A good and newer version of the previous XPS 730 series. The chipset is now Intel Tylersburg which is of course better than the previous NVIDIA 790i Ultra SLi . Added support for other operating system is also a good innovation. I bought this Dell Dimension 2400 in year 2003, I have been using it for more than five years. The price is reasonable, and the specifications are considered quite good back to five years ago. Nice setup. Lots of processing power and future performance expansion, since full speed isn't realized with existing configuration. Graphics and sound capability much better than I expected, can actually play some games out of the box. Couldn't build a system for less money. Cons: 32bit OS on 64bit hardware. Though, that may be more to do with ensuring stability, and if so, I'm OK with that. Speed is useless without stability. BACKUP and RECOVERY ...
