The Apple has come leaps and bounds when it comes to compatibility. I have had zero issues with this on this machine. Although this used to be a huge issue for mac users, it is no longer a concern. The new operating system can even run Windows flawlessly. My digital cameras, video cameras, printer, and scanner all have worked perfectly with the machine. The computer itself is very nippy. It makes intensive tasks seem very easy. Even complex work in Photoshop is completed very quickly indeed. There is a cooling fan in the iMac, but for most of the time you really don't notice it. Only when doing video work does the fan speed up and you can hear it, but it is still quieter than most PC's.
