Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz
Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 20" TFT by
chaineee
Advantages: Good
Disadvantages: Non
The 2.4 GHz iMac is Apple's low-end version of its popular all-in-one desktop computer line, though in actuality, there's nothing very "low-end" about it. It has a built in 20" glossy widescreen display, a very fast Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a gigabyte of RAM standard, 3 USB ports (plus two more on the keyboard), a FireWire 400 and 800 port for faster peripherals, built-in wireless and Bluetooth, an included keyboard and mouse, and a FrontRow remote ... ...the RAM, as 1GB may not fully satisfy your needs if you're going to use your iMac for audio/video work. The iMac can support up to 4GB of RAM, which is really more than any average consumer would need by today's standards, but as technology is rapidly growing and software is becoming more and more sophisticated, that 4GB capacity will come in handy in the future ...

The Apple Mac Pro Dual-Core Xeon This Mac pro is really a great thing, you can play the biggest and hardest game on this Mac pro, because the power is so good. Apple Mac Pro Quad-Core Xeon 2.8 GHz
Review of Apple Mac Pro Quad-Core Xeon 2.8 GHz by
chaineee
Advantages: Good
Disadvantages: None
Microsoft Windows Vista, I decided to make the complete switch to Mac. The one thing that put me off the Mac Pro was the price - I was used to building PC's cheaper. After researching the Mac Pro more, I realised why it was so costly - the RAM is DDR2 ECC Fully-Buffered 800Mhz, which is not cheap. The motherboard supports two CPU's, and the ones that come standard are 2.8Ghz Quad Core Xeons with 12MB L2 Caches. And easy to pull harddrives in and ... ...supports up to a whopping 32GB of RAM. Another great thing about this computer is that it has 4 PCI-e slots, and can run 8 monitors. I currently am running 3 monitors, and it handles the task easily - and they are not small monitors either 30", 24" and 22". The operating system is OS X Leopard 10.5.2, which comes with many useful features. ...
