Advantages: A well known name, many extras to buy Disadvantages: Customer service is not oriented to "customers"
I have a Dell at both work and home. The one at home has had to have three video cards and it still will not run certain programs correctly. The customer service was sub-par, they called and offered a service plan, but when we said no-the next month the bill had on it the charge for the plan. F*%k Dell, thier customer service is the worst. I ordered a computer om line when the produce got to me I did not have all of the features I paid for, so when I tried to return it I was charged for a second computer, when I returned the second computer because It was missing the same Item, Dell charged me $450 shiping and handeling for a computer that I never got a chance to use. Dell sucks!!!!!

well i had a Dell since 2007 and i love it to death. The most part that i love is the CD Burner built inside of the tower which i had a Gateway computer and doesn't had one of those. I love my Dell computer
