Advantages: Comes with great standard specifications Disadvantages: Can start to get pricey
...not when you buy a dell computer, you pretty much choose the whole thing to be built to your choice, which if you aks me means that the order process is all part of this pc!!
Now I've had my dell inspiron 1520 for nearly a year ( i'm even writing this review using it!) and even though you can order it to your specification, this model wasn't changed much from the basic spec so it gives a good insight into standard etc.
First off, upon ringing through ... ...order twice saying ''thats the dell inspiron in black with...'' I found this to be the most annoying thing as if it wasn't for the fact that it was this exact pc I wanted I would have at that point taken my business elsewhere. Its' not like I was asking for a lot of difficult unusual specs or extras - it was basic with a couple of simple things.
My pc did take quite a while to arrive, due to them waiting on parts which I can understand so just a ...

Advantages: Being able to pick and choose your own specifications Disadvantages: Cost mounts up quickly!
We have had our Dell laptop now for coming up to one yer and it has performed well over this time and shows no signs of slowing down yet.
We paid just under £600 for our laptop which is the equilavent to approximately $1110. This was the first time I'd actually owned a Dell laptop myself and it was all ordered through their own website which was easy and convinient as I could choose the specifications myself.
The laptop itself - It is a medium ... ...to be perfect as the larger screens are just too bulky for when you want to move around with it.
The laptop comes in a variety of colours to enable you to personalise it and for those who are not wanting anything too fancy then the black and white coloured ones are included in the standard cost. To upgrade on this model costs just £17 or $31 so not extremely expensive for a little personalisation!
Te laptop has an integrated webcam which I find ...

Advantages: memory, graphics, nice for traveling Disadvantages: none
If you are looking for a really nice laptop then look no farther because this is it with lots of features and functions. It is really portable o carry around any where that you are going to use for personal and school projects. The speed is rather fast compared to alot of pcs that I have used in the past. It has some nice graphics and the sound is really nice. You have to charge the battery every so often because it only runs for about four hours ...

Advantages Excellent spec, good build quality, lightweight, great graphics Disadvantages A little pricey
...Inspirational Inspiron1520 by Dell
Ok lets run through the whole process.
ORDERING
Ordering a dell couldnt be more simple. The online process is great and easy to use. In fact far easier to use than the telephone service where the how can i put it, difference in accent, can often lead to mistakes. Once you have chosen the model you require then you will be guided through a series screens where you can purchase additional options for your computer, things such as extra hard disk capacity, better screen etc. The beauty about this feature is that if you try to make an upgrade choice which is incompatable with the operating system you have chosen it will flag up and not let you proceed with the order until a suitable alternative has been chosen. To be honest the chances of this happening are very slim and it is usually confined...

Advantages Well Built, Most of I/O Ports as standard, good screen Disadvantages Weight, Position of USB Ports
...The keyboard is silver in colour with touchpad however there is no mouse scroll ball but i hardly used it on my previous dell.
LCD
As I have got 15.4'' Truelife screen, the results are amazing added with excellent graphics quality of NVedia card.
Sound
I found the sound to be quite good and loud so if u wana play games or listen music it won't disappoint you.
WiFi + Bluetooth can be easily configured
It has got two USB Ports on the right side and also the DVD drive is on the right
Two USB slots on the back along with S-Video out and VGA out port
Battery inlet is on the back left.
WiFi On/Off Button on left and Card readers on left along with Audio Sockets (Line In/Line Out)
On the weight side it is bit heavy approx 2.8 - 3 Kg, so if you are the one who use laptop on Bed, on Lap, it will feel bit bulky.

Advantages: good touch response, overall performance, feature Disadvantages: slightly heavy on the lap and on pocket
...Core components of Fujitsu lifebook T4220 is similar to that of dellinspiron1520 which is based on performance chipset, the intel PM965. Screen is well caliberated and has bright display with a on screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels. Having an all silver matte finish class casing it offers good build and overall sturdiness. The well placed stylus, hotkeys and ports offers quick accessibility. Usebility too is quite impresive. Performs well for mainstream and midlevel applications. Graphical intensive apllications may topple, as discrete graphics is absent. Usefull tool for designers, illustrators to make digital imprints. No webcam may come as downward merits to it. The overall performance is fast and good. Fujitsu libooks are bit costly rather going for an inspiron wont make much difference....
