I love my Dimension E521! I've had this desktop for a little over a year now. Other then some technical issues with Vista this computer is great. There are 6 Dell computers in my house, I keep upgrading every 2 years or so...and they all are still working and being used. Dell stands by its products and the price is right. My E521 is used to play games, video chat sites, and I work from home using it. It has great speed, easy to maintain and came with a 20" flat panal monitor. The keyboard is a new design Dell has come out with. It's more narrow then their older boards. The keys have more spring to them so it's very easy to type. Set up was very easy, I was up and running within 15 minutes. The only downfall I have with Dell is their mouse. They send the old ball style mouse which only works good for about a month. Then it starts sticking and needs to be cleaned continually. A quick email to Dell and I had a new mouse at my door the next day to replace the one that was sticking. Another problem I've had (and this was not only with Dell computers) is the print rubbing off the keys after a few months of use. This has happened with the last 2 desktops I've owned from Dell and a previous one from HP years ago. I'm not sure if its the ink / paint they use or if I'm just spending wayyyyy too much time on a computer. LOL I'd love to know if anyone else has this problem with their keyboards. Again, a quick email to Dell and I had a new keyboard the next day. This is one of the reasons I stick with Dell, they always stand behind their products. I would recommend the E521 to anyone that enjoys video chat, playing online games, watching videos and DVDS, or downloading music and playing it from your computer. The E521 does it all and then some. The tower is large, but it is a very dependable computer for the price.
