...The EC5 was my first espresso machine and I thought it would be tricky, however it is surprisigly easy to use and clean. It has an easily understandable water measuring jug so you know exactly how much water to put in to ensure you get enough steam for your milk. Invest in another jug to warm your milk in though, otherwise you'll be trying to a mug or anything to hand to heat your milk. The trickiest bit is getting the milk frother to stretch far enough to reach your milk as it doesn't swivel that far away from the machine. Perhaps a bendy pipe would have been better. That said, it is an excellent machine which is simple to use and understand. Definately not for commercial use however as the capacity is max 4 cups. Top Tip: Always use more water than it says to make sure you've got enough steam for your milk!...
