Yes, this is a very nice deep fryer because my cousin got one as a wedding gift when she was getting married. She even used it when she invited us over for a nice home cooked meal. I was in the kitchen as she was using it to cook. And it was really nice on the out side. I even wanted to see how hot it would get on the outside but it was not hot at all. The motorized frying basket gently moves ingredients in and out of the hot oil and can be raised or lowered while the hermetically sealed locking lid is closed. A light signals when your oil has reached the correct frying temperature, usually in under 10 minutes. Cool Touch walls promote safe operation, and a viewing window lets you keep an eye on what's inside. Features include a non-stick coated interior, 20-minute electronic timer, 9 temperature settings with a range of 300-375 degrees Fahrenheit, anti-odor filters and cord storage. For easy cleaning, the system filters and drains the used oil into a sealable storage container.
