Advantages: Pagentry, competition, best drivers in the world

The Daytona 500 is called the Great American Race. Does it deserve this moniker? ABSOLUTELY. This crown jewel of stock car racing beginning the racing season each year in Februrary with its festivities which include the Bud Shootout, the twin 125 qualifying races, and of our course the race itself. You will usually have around 43 teams qualify to participate, with the top two positions taken by the fastest qualifying times, and the rest of the field ...
...take place the thursday before the big race. The big race itself is the greatest spectacle though. There absolutely fabulous entertainment provided before hand by big name music acts, then the race itself takes center stage. What is particularly great about this race is that you have most of the greatest drivers in the world competiting on this 2.5 mile oval for 200 breathtaking laps. Advantages: earnhardt, speed and adrenaline
Disadvantages: none

...Dale earnhardt jr is a nascar race car driver and the son of the late nascar champion dale earnhardt. He has never won a championship and as of yet his best finish in the cup is third place. He used to race for his father's company, which is now ran by his step mother teresa but they did not see eye to eye so he left. He did have to give up the number eight car. He now is driving the number eighty eight amp and national guard car. In 2001 he lost his father in a tragic accident at the daytona 500 finishing second. When he left his dad's company he basically said his step mom did not know enough for him to be able to win. She would not let him take the number eight with him, which seems classless to me. Overall he should be a great one.... Read review
