The DME-560CT multifunction card allows fax/modem communications and network operation to be carried out at the same time. As a result, user can transfer data with other stations as well as send/receive faxes concurrently over the modem in one step. The PC cards have a high-speed 56Kbps fax modem, which performs error correction and data compression. The DME-560CT PC card is compatible with Microsoft's Plug and Play feature, which allows the PC card installation to be simple and easy. Users just slide the card into any PCMCIA slots and it will intelligently configure and install automatically. For users' convenience, the PC cards are also provided with a menu driven installation program for users running in a NetWare or DOS environment. The installation program comes with a suit of diagnostic features, which provide a smooth installation process.
