This is the first DVD Player I have purchased. It plays everything that I have put at it on a DVD, backup movie DVDs, mpeg files, jpg, mp3. When I look at other DVD Players - You will not get any one with all GOOD QUALITY and WITH REASONABLE PRICE. I tried playing all brand DVD media and played w/o any problem. Its a Good budget dvd player, just excuse its looks and it does everything else for you the same way your expensive dvd player does, It looks like a computer dvd player, but it has all the features which a good dvd player should have.
