This is a very nice sony disc changer. It is really fantastic to have in your home or even if you have a party. You can put a lot of disc in and when one cd gets done then you can listen to others with out taking any out. The will just rotate around. It is loud and plays very clearly. I have just got this Panasonic DVD S54K and I think the player does a fairly good job in up converting the DVD with good picture quality. This DVD/VCR was a birthday present to me from my husband. I have a huge collection of VHS tapes, as well as stacks of DVD's, so I love having the combination of both in one unit.
