...ever have. I bought this samsung few years ago, even before my children born. Since at that time I had plenty time to watch DVD movies. So I choose this model, because it look so nice to with with the black color. For your information, at that time, there was not many choice of color, most of DVD player that I saw were in silver color.
So I choose this model, because it had black color, match nice with my black television.
Then guess what, after ... ...this DVD player. The picture is still good, the sounds is still clear, don't have any problem at all. Even nowadays my children like to watch their movie, and they often try to put the DVD on them self. You know already how it works with the kids. But guess what? My DVD player is still working until now.
So, I am really happy with my choice. I really got great deal with this.

Advantages: reads really all supports Disadvantages: poor manual
Some months ago I bought this DVD players because my last was broken. The excellent support has convinced me to buy it; in fact this DVD player supports DVD / DiVX / XVID / MPEG 1-2-4.
Aesthetically, it's nice and light (when you buy one gets the impression that the box is empty!)! There are yellow lights when it is on, meanwhile the lights are red when it is switched off .
The options on the player are enough good to make an easy use even without ... ...are certain DVD players that once fell and broke the remote control, are virtually unusable).
You can view images normal and full-screen (16:9) and adjust the image depending on the size of your TV screen (16:9 or 4:3).
In my opinion,the essential quality for which a player can be judged positively is the number of formats and that is really surprising, reads them all:
MPEG 4, AVI, DIVX 3.XX, 4.XX, 5.11, 6.XX, XVID, MPEG 2, DVD AND S-VCD SVCD ...

The LG DN898 1080p Up-conversion Dvd player has good quality features. LG DN898 1080p dvd player plays all media formats, which is great for playing movies DVD's and songs written by my computer.
It really plays all CD's and DVD's made by DVD and CD burners, I have no problem with that, the pictures weren't so bad too.Plus you get Up-conversion, this is so great,,the DVD player can convert the native DVD resolution to a higher resolution automatically, ... ...resolution..Also, HDMI USB output let's your dvd player to your digital TV, or any digital device, it's a digital interface that connects to audio/video from the dvd player to any digital device.
