My sister has this dvr at her house in her living room and she loves it. The kids can watch their tv shows and she can sit their and program it to record all of her shows at night. It does really nice things. It works like a vcr but does not need a tape at all. It is very easy to use and the remote is as nice as the system that you are using. It will also tape like a vcr when you program it but will have alot of better quality and sound. It does not cost as much as other kinds of dvrs. It is definitely worh the price. It is so nice to have and to watch tv with.
