This classic machine does so much. When I was shopping for a food processor, I knew I wanted a Cuisinart. It does so many things, it seems like I never use it enough. I've used mine to make pesto, pasta dough, sauces, grate large amounts of cheese (using the grating blade), turning crackers into cracker crumbs, and marinades. ...can be put in the dishwasher. Be careful with the blades though, they are all really sharp. One handy little thing is the pusher for the feed tube. There's a little hole in it which is great for making salad dressings, as it controls the speed of the oil you're adding, making sure it doesn't get added too quickly.
