This little 250-watt workhorse comes in handy when a full-size food processor is unnecessary. The work bowl is just right for making pesto or a salad dressing, and two receptacles... more...in the lid have pinholes for one or two oils to stream into the bowl while the processor is blending a perfect emulsion. It's also ideal for chopping and grinding. Pressing the "chop" button deploys the sharp edge of Cuisinart's patented reversible blade to chop onions, herbs, or bread crumbs. Pressing the "grind" button whirls the blade in the other direction so its blunt side can grind nuts, coffee beans, or cheese.

I have this mini chopper for <5 yrs now & I just love it, love it. It does everything! This is one of those things that you don't think you ever need but once you have it, you would really miss it. Very pleased with the prompt service and quality for the price. It is just right for my needs and easy to store. I never use my big food proceesor and we sent the blender to good will. We make smoothies and jusice drings in this and chop herbs, garlic and make quick sauces. The assembly and clean up are easy and fast. Simple to just wash it out with a sponge. How could I live without it?
Get one, you'll wonder how you did without it!
