...This little creative 256mb mp3 player surprised me the first time i listened to it. It punches out a brilliant stereo sound for such a small gadget! And it only weighs 32grams! It is actually not just an mp3 player : It also has a built in FM radio tuner Recording facilities (quite handy in lectures etc if you're finding he/she is speaking to fast to take note) - you can also record the live radio with it! You can use it to store ANY data from your pc - just ike a flash drive. I find this handy instead of using floppy disks to transfer essays to printable computers - am sure you can think of plenty more uses. ...i would recommend the creative muvo tx fm if you are interested in an all-in-one system. it is a mp3, voice recorder, thumb drive and radio all mixed in one. the transfer of mp3 files onto the player is top notch and very easy. all you need to do is connect it via usb to your computer/laptop and u can start transferring files as per normal. it will hold any type of files, word, excel, images, sound and not just mp3...so it is excellent as a thumb drive. the usb part is detachable from the battery holder(silver part) and that fits perfectly into most usb slots. the mic is located near the lcd display and is a little small. you might have to hold it quite close to your mouth to be able to record something. it requires an AAA battery, i would recommend getting rechargable ones as that can save you quite alot of money. because of its... ...An MP3 player that just works. It's that simple; a 256MB, battery powered MP3 player. The sound quality is superb from such a small, cheap player, you could be listening to an iPod in my opinion and not tell much difference. It never skips - I often take it with me to the gym and have had no problems whatsoever. It is very durable - I have dropped it a number of times and it still works fine. When I received the product, it came with a ton of software on CD, but you needn't use this. It can be as easy as plug-and-play, just pull the black memory section away from the battery section and slot it into any USB port, then drag and drop files using Windows Explorer and they'll stay on the device for as long as you wish.
