The Dflex products can accept interchangeable electrical line interfaces. The Serial Line Interface Modules (SLIM) provide the electrical interface for two asynchronous communication ports. Some of the standard SLIM modules cannot take advantage of the faster baud rates available with a DFlex-4/104 is set for 460.8 Kbps. This SLIM module is compatible with a DFlex-4/104 adapter set for 460k mode on J1.
