Cool Looking Speakers
Review of JBL Spyro Teal by chainspider

Advantages: Nice
Disadvantages: not so bad

...they have a "fatal flaw". JBL really messed up when they made the volume buttons touch sensitive. Interesting concept, except that they don't work AT ALL. I can't raise or lower the volume, or mute the speakers. I'm stuck listening to everything at the default volume level. In reading some blogs, it turns out that others are experiencing the same problem that I am. Sounds like a fundamental design flaw in the product. I applaud JBL's effort to bring ... Read review

Excellent performance
Review of JBL Creature II by kussy69

Advantages: Amazing crystal clear sound, attractive design
Disadvantages: Power button not easily accessible, touch sensitive controls may sometime be not very responsive

...the same price range, the JBL Creature 2 is far ahead with its crystal clear sound and accurate renditions of higher frequencies. The only thing I dont like about these speakers are that the power button is a little too difficult to access easily. All that being, Im really glad I invested in these speakers. ... Read review

The Harman/Kardon HK
Review of Harman/kardon HK 206 by dexter486

Advantages: Easy to Use, Plug and Play
Disadvantages: Too Easy to Use, Lacks Music Sound Quality

The Harman/Kardon HK 206 PC multimedia speakers are pretty basic. Plug them in, adjust the volume knob on the right speaker, and off you listen. Great for an office type setting where you will not be listening to a lot of music, movies or games. The sound is of average quality with good clarity for speech. I tend to watch a lot of Bloomberg, listening through these speakers. If you wand good Music Quality of a lot of Bass, these are not for you. ... Read review

Review of Altec Lansing FX4021 by budianto

Advantages: Altec Lansing FX4021 2.1 Speaker System
Disadvantages: Altec Lansing FX4021 2.1 Speaker System

Altec Lansing is a company that quickly comes to mind when discussing good audio systems at a reasonable price. Currently, I use a 5.1 Altec Lansing setup on my work computer and 2.1 on the benchmarking computer. Needless to say, their speaker sets have always fit my budget, and provide quality sound that I am looking for. Last month, they announced the release of the FX4021 and FX5051, the latter being a USB based 5.1 setup. When you are looking ...
...already stated that I trust Altec Lansing quite a bit, which is why I use their systems on all of my PCs. However, my faith was kicked to the ground when I took a look at their AHP612 wireless headphones recently. They were the absolute worst headphones that ever sat on my head, to say the least. But, I am not one to hold a grudge, so I am hoping that the FX4021s will more than make up for that headset. ... Read review
