The TFT5000 is especially smart for corporate environments or business areas where Compaq systems are in use. AssetControl saves time and support costs by allowing network administrators to track monitor inventory information, such as monitor make, serial number, and resolution modes, across a network. This capability is designed into Compaq monitors through DDC2B compliance, allowing the monitor and CPU to have two-way communication and distribute that information through the network, saving the time of physically checking each unit on location. In-Plane Switching technology gives this monitor remarkable 160 degree viewing angles. Plus, Compaq gives you three ways to use the TFT5000 - arm mount, wall mount, and standard mount. The arm mount frees up 100% of desk space and adds mobility; the monitor can be turned, angled, raised or lowered to suit the needs of one or more viewers. The wall mount hangs the display like a painting hangs on the wall; multiple monitors can be mounted on a wall in financial trading or other settings that require simultaneous access to a variety of applications. The standard mount is a pedestal with a small footprint to take up a minimum of desk space and allows tilt adjustment and pivot screen for viewing comfort. In addition, the security lock slot allows a cable to be attached to prevent theft of this appealing, mobile monitor.
