Advantages: Does you the bare minimum reasonable well.
Disadvantages: Don't get me started...

...with this PC. Purchasing a compaq I felt confident I would get the full Vista experience and be ahppy with my PC. I could never be so wrong. Firstly it looks horrible, fat, colourless and mixutres of grey. A great start. Secondly its unreliable, sometimes it won't start up, sometimes programs will randomly freeze, sometimes it own't shut down, sometimes things won't connect by usb and ALWAYS my Ipod won't sync with itunes. As far as the components ...
...mouse and an ok screen but you need to buy yourself decent speakers. As far as Vista gos I'm not too impressed. Ok there are a few visual differences between XP and this, but nothing major. Also Vista can't run half the programs avaliable yet so I recommend waiting before you upgrade. Overall a poor performance computer, that will do you the bare minimium (word, music etc.) well. ...
