Advantages High resolution and great auto settings Disadvantages Too many menus and options for beginners
...quality is very good. There is also an inbuilt speaker but it is fairly quiet and a sounds a little tinny.
The HP R717 comes with a manual, a chrager and a USB lead to connect to the computer.
Picture can be uploaded to your computer for editin or just printing. If you have a memory card and a cardreader you can also get your pictures to the computer this way. The HP R717 can also be used with photo printers.
Overall I believe this is a great choice for most photographers from holiday snappers to semi professional.

Advantages Small and handy to be taken nearly anywhere also the price is great. Disadvantages 16MB on-board RAM is not enough you have to purchase a larger SD Flash card.
...is the "menu" button which is situated in the centre of the direction buttons.
Quite different from most if the other makes I had viewed it has a separate "delete" button and so that you do not delete by accident it does ask what you would like to delete and also when you have picked the item for deleting it confirms you want to delete it, great so you do not lose your pictures accidentally.
It takes two AA type batteries, I use Duracell batteries and they seem to last forever. You do also have the option for a DC power supply although one is not supplied.
You connect the HP Photosmart M525 to your computer with the supplied USB cable or you can if you have a cardreader just take out the card and insert it into your cardreader. It takes a SD Flash media card, I think one of the reasons this was so cheap is because it is not supplied...

Advantages Printing Directly ond CD/DVD, Multi format card reader/writer etc Disadvantages Cartridges can become costly but Buy direct and your in for a surprise
...what?)
I got that straight away, and Oh my....
Never had a failure read CD/DVD since printing straight to disc and the quality is absolutly amazing, wilst the best feature is of the accuracy it prints straight to disc, it still never ceases to surprise. The disc themselfes are even cheaper, I find... No more press IT labels and appicators and mess to waste money and time with... Adjustments are a thing of the past too...
On the Color prints on normal mode I found it to be of better quality than HP or Lexmark,. the speed it clears the full color prints is amasing...
It also upgraded the PC with a Multi format multi media cardreader/writer wich comes on handy if you have MMC/SD/etc to read or write without wanting to plug your camera or device to the PC...
It also adds 1x USB 2.0 ports so you havent lost a thing....
It has...
